Why did you choose the University of North Carolina-Charlotte for graduate school?
I chose UNC Charlotte because it is known as a great school for academics. I also attended as an undergrad and knew the curriculum would be challenging yet exciting and worthwhile.
What was the transition like from undergraduate to graduate school? How did UNC Charlotte make that transition smooth?
Undergraduate to graduate school was rocky at first. I initially enrolled in a program that did not fit my career path, but I took the time to find what I desired to do for the rest of my life. Upon transitioning back into graduate school, UNC Charlotte welcomed me with open arms and supported me in my path to reach my highest potential.
How did a UNC Charlotte graduate degree prepare you for your future?
UNC Charlotte has prepared me for my future by challenging me to think more critically while sharpening my research and reading skills. I am more comfortable dissecting research papers offering a wide array of perspectives. The graduate degree has prepared me to remain steadfast in my studies and that my scholarly opinion can be useful in my career.
What is your favorite thing about the University of North Carolina-Charlotte's location?
The online degree has offered flexibility as I have a full-time position that prevents me from being on campus 24/7.
