Auto-Admit Program Overview

The auto-admission program makes it easy for high-achieving UNC Charlotte graduating seniors to seamlessly transition into graduate school.

Through this pathway, eligible graduating seniors with a 3.0+ cumulative GPA can complete a simplified graduate application and receive an expedited admission decision, keeping your goals and progress on track while remaining part of the Niner Nation community you know and trust.

Eligibility

To qualify for auto admission, applicants must:

  • Be a graduating senior (graduating Fall 2026).
  • Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Have earned an eligible undergraduate degree.
  • Apply to an eligible participating graduate program.
    • Note: This pathway is designated specifically for graduating seniors entering their first graduate term immediately following graduation and does not apply to current Early Entry students or prior term alumni.

Not a computing graduate? You may still qualify.

Many CCI graduate programs welcome UNC Charlotte graduates from a wide range of academic backgrounds — including business, health sciences, biology, engineering, mathematics, social sciences and more.

If you need additional preparation, CCI offers Bridging Pathway coursework in programming and/or mathematics to help you build the foundation for graduate-level success.
