UNC Charlotte Graduate School introduces Auto-Admit program
UNC Charlotte’s Graduate School has launched a dynamic program designed to simplify the transition from undergraduate to graduate studies. The Auto Admit program revolutionizes the admission process for high-achieving students by removing common hurdles.
Starting in the Spring 2026 application season, qualified undergraduate students will submit a streamlined graduate application and receive an expedited admission decision. This approach helps them maintain their academic and career trajectories while remaining connected to the Niner Nation community they know and trust. Gone are the days of entrance exams, letters of recommendations, statements of purpose and academic transcripts.
The initiative is inaugurated with the College of Computing and Informatics, offering six select master’s programs: M.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Information Technology, M.S. in Cybersecurity, M.S. in Bioinformatics, M.S. in Data Science and Business Analytics and M.S. in Health Informatics and Analytics.
The Auto Admit program exemplifies UNC Charlotte’s commitment to supporting students and enhancing access to graduate education. By implementing resources that empower students, the program encourages them to step into the next chapter of their careers boldly.
