Why did you choose UNC Charlotte over other universities?
UNC Charlotte showcased its commitment to accommodate students from all walks of life. The campus provides learning experiences alongside people from different backgrounds, experiences, and even all ages, where I feel I haven’t had the chance to experience anywhere else.
What has been the best part of your academic experience so far?
To grow and learn, this time professionally, my graduate studies have challenged me to think differently and explore so many new ideas that allow me to approach architecture from a different, even broader perspective. I have especially enjoyed learning this through projects.

The university offers various academic, social and professional avenues that foster enriching experiences. It creates opportunities to learn from people whose perspectives and experiences may differ from your own.
What advice would you give to someone considering applying to your program?
My advice would be to have a clear idea of what you want from your graduate experience and what you hope to accomplish throughout the program. Dive deep into research and gain a complete understanding of what lies ahead before you take that leap.
