Auto-Admit Program Overview
The Auto Admission Program makes it easy for outstanding UNC Charlotte undergraduates to continue their academic journey into graduate school.
Through this pathway, eligible students can complete a simplified graduate application and receive an expedited admission decision, keeping their goals and progress on track while remaining part of the Niner Nation community they know and trust.
Eligibility
To qualify for Auto Admission, students must:
- Be a current UNC Charlotte undergraduate student
- Have completed at least 102+ credit hours
- Hold a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Be enrolled in one of the eligible undergraduate majors listed below
Eligible Undergraduate Programs
- B.A. Computer Science
- B.S. Computer Science
- B.S. Data Science
Waived Requirements
Students applying through the Auto Admission Program will complete a graduate application, with the following requirements are waived:
- Graduate Entrance Exam (e.g., GRE, GMAT, etc.)
- Recommendation Forms or Letters
- Statement of Purpose or Personal Essay
- Official Transcripts (if internal to UNC Charlotte)
Bonus: If you enroll in your admitted program, your graduate application fee will be refunded to your student account the first semester in your graduate program—making your application free!
